The Hunted Duet was just an all around amazing, page turner of a sexy read.

I have a feeling it’s going to a couple days to recoup. And that’s even after Cole giving us a happily ever after. Cole was seriously unlocking kinks I never knew I needed. Everything between them is all about the chase. The romance? Mind-blowingly dirty and dark and utterly consuming. Lie and truths will blur together until you can’t trust anyone at all. There is no doubt about it, this duet will have you thinking and thinking until nothing makes sense anymore. I loved seeing old characters making appearances and things clicking into place when it came to some of those names from past stories. If only to get a few more pages in before falling back asleep.

And this time, there was no happy ending for her. And the fact that she still ran away after breaking him? She was going to pay. So he could not love her like that, he could only hate her. Nothing could have prepared him for the shock of learning how she ruined him. Kristoff knew that falling for a mafia princess has its complications but he was ready to face it all.

From her end and from Kristoff's end too. Only this time there is only hate between them. After so many years of being away from him, you would think that their pull is gone.
